<aside> 💭

The most beneficial thing I learned in my business is to be proactive rather than reactive with my work.

This can look like planning a week's worth of content (proactive) instead of being anxious all day that I have to write a post and procrastinating around it, wasting soooo much time in the process and doing it right at the last minute (reactive).

This was the first piece of personal development training I received when I invested in my first coach.

I think you'll be surprised where the ‘time sucks’ are in your day and how you can put better boundaries in place which will ultimately get you closer to your goals.

WHAT IS THE EISENHOWER MATRIX?

The Eisenhower Matrix is a productivity tool that helps you prioritise tasks by sorting them into four categories based on two factors: urgency and importance. It’s simple and that’s why it worked. And what this will do is help you break free from the constant firefighting mode you may be doing in your business.

HOW TO USE THIS WORKSHEET

  1. For the next week, track all your activities, tasks, and time spent
  2. Sort each item into one of the four quadrants below
  3. Analyse where most of your time is going
  4. Create an action plan to shift more time to ✨ DECIDE ✨ (Important, Not Urgent)
  5. Review and adjust as needed

EACH TASK YOU DO IN YOUR BUSINESS WILL FIT IN ONE OF THE FOUR DIFFERENT CATEGORIES

Quadrant 1: DO (Urgent & Important)

Action: Handle immediately, but create a strategy to prevent this firefighting mode

Quadrant 2: DECIDE (Important, Not Urgent)

Action: Schedule CEO days or dedicated time for these

Quadrant 3: DELEGATE (Urgent, Not Important)

Action: Turn off notifications, automate, delegate to systems

Quadrant 4: DELETE (Not Urgent, Not Important)

Action: Delete these completely from your schedule
